Taylor is the daughter of Jack Hamilton, who influenced her to become a psychiatrist.

She counsels Ridge Forrester and his wife Caroline, who is diagnosed with leukemia. After Caroline passes away, Taylor and Ridge start dating despite the interference from Brooke Logan, who is Ridge’s ex.

Then, Taylor and Ridge get married in 1992 and their relationship struggle starts. Taylor has infidelity with her mentor, James Warwick, and meets a plane crash in 1994.

Everyone assumes that she passed away, but she returns to Ridge.

Taylor then gives birth to Thomas in 1998 and twins Steffy and Phoebe in 1999. To give their lives a new beginning, Tylor and Ridge remarry.

But soon, Ridge’s unstable ex, Morgan DeWitt, abducts Tylor and Sheila Carter, causing her to take a leave from the earth in 2002.

However, Tylor remains alive and returns in 2005. When Ridge leaves her, she seems depressed and becomes an alcoholic.

With that, she happens to harm Thorne’s wife, Darla, who passes away immediately.

When things get worse, she entangles relationships with Nick Marone and Brooke’s son Rick, but both end when she still has a soft corner for Ridge.

In 2010, Tylor marries Whip Jones and purchases significant shares of Forrester Creations but soon they divorce.

Later, she appears to counsel Katie Logan and exposes Brooke’s affair with Katie’s husband, Bill Spencer Jr.

After some time she leaves the city in 2013 and her appearance remains brief in 2014 to 2018. When Tylor returns in 2018, she plans to take advantage of Steffy.

She continues her profession as a psychiatrist and leaves Los Angeles in 2019 for missionary work.

In 2021, Tylor returns to surprise her daughter Steffy after traveling overseas.
