Steve O recalled, “We’re talking about how we never wanted to have kids – or at least I felt really strongly about it. So I said OK, I’ll get a tattoo of a baby in a circle with a slash like a ‘No Babies’ sign.”
While he and his friends thought it would be funny at first, they later thought of getting a tattoo of ‘F-word Babies.’
But things took a worse turn with more drink for the entertainer as he ended up going with an image of a guy doing it to a baby. Steve O says he knew he was crossing the line but did it anyway.
Later, when he showed it to a couple passing by, he says, “They saw it and the look of horror on their face told me that I had actually made a serious mistake.”
After that, Steve O later chose to cover it up and turn it into an ostrich at the recommendation of his friend Bam Mergera. That’s how Steve O’s infamous ostrich tattoo was born.
